Advanced clinical expertise, 3D diagnostics, and precision surgical treatments for complex jaw and dental conditions.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a highly specialized branch of dentistry that addresses diseases, injuries, defects, and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. At our clinic, under the expert guidance of Uzm. Dt. Yusuf Kurt, we combine years of surgical experience with cutting-edge technologies to perform complex procedures with maximum comfort, sterile safety, and minimal post-operative recovery times. Every surgical plan starts with advanced 3D Dental Tomography (CBCT) to map out critical anatomical landmarks, such as the mandibular nerve and sinus cavities, ensuring unparalleled precision. Our surgical spectrum covers everything from routine extractions to advanced reconstructive procedures: - Impacted Wisdom Teeth: Wisdom teeth often remain trapped in the jawbone or grow at improper angles, causing pain, crowding, decay in adjacent teeth, or cyst formation. We specialize in the gentle, minimally invasive extraction of these complex impacted teeth, preserving the surrounding bone and nerve tissue. - Jaw Cysts and Pathology: Cysts or benign lesions can develop silently within the jawbone, slowly destroying bone tissue and compromising tooth stability. We perform precise cystectomy procedures, removing the pathological tissue entirely and filling the cavity with bone grafts to stimulate natural regeneration. - Bone Grafting (Bone Powder Apposition): Long-term tooth loss or infection leads to jawbone resorption (shrinkage). In cases where there is insufficient bone volume to support dental implants, we perform bone grafting. By placing high-quality autogenous, allogeneic, or synthetic bone substitutes, we rebuild a solid bone base. - Sinus Lift Surgery (Sinus Floor Elevation): The maxillary sinuses are air-filled cavities located above the upper back teeth. When these teeth are lost, the sinus floor naturally drops, and the bone thins. A sinus lift is a specialized procedure that gently elevates the sinus membrane and places bone graft material beneath it, creating the necessary height and volume for secure implant placement. - Apicoectomy (Root-End Resection): When traditional root canal treatment fails to clear an infection at the tip of the tooth root, we perform a micro-surgical apicoectomy. The infected root tip and surrounding tissue are removed, and a biocompatible filling is placed at the end of the root to seal the canal and save the tooth. We utilize state-of-the-art local anesthetics and conscious sedation options to make all surgical procedures completely painless. Our specialized surgical suite adheres to the highest European sterilization protocols. Post-operative care is customized for every patient, including detailed recovery instructions, prescription medication plans, and regular follow-up checks to monitor healing and ensure a smooth, comfortable transition to complete oral health.
Advanced Surgical Protocol
Comprehensive 3D Imaging & Diagnostics: We perform a high-resolution 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scan to capture a detailed, three-dimensional representation of your jawbone, nerve pathways, and sinus positions. This allows us to plan the exact surgical pathway and avoid any anatomical complications.
Sterile Pre-operative Preparation & Pain Control: The procedure is carried out in our dedicated surgical room under strict sterile conditions. We apply advanced local anesthesia techniques to ensure the surgical field is completely numb. For anxious patients, sedation options can be arranged to provide a relaxed, stress-free experience.
Micro-Surgical Execution & Bone Augmentation: Uzm. Dt. Yusuf Kurt executes the procedure using specialized micro-surgical instruments, minimizing trauma to surrounding soft and hard tissues. If required, premium bone grafting materials and barrier membranes are placed to optimize bone regeneration.
Suturing & Customized Laser/Cooling Therapy: The surgical site is closed using high-quality, biocompatible sutures (often self-resorbing) to promote rapid healing. We apply immediate external cooling therapy and provide a personalized post-operative recovery kit containing ice packs, sterile gauze, and comprehensive care guidelines.

Comprehensive Post-Operative Care & Recovery Instructions
To ensure fast and uneventful healing, please strictly follow these instructions: - First 24 Hours: Keep the sterile gauze pad in place, biting gently for 45 minutes after the surgery. Do not spit, rinse your mouth, or use a straw, as the negative pressure can dislodge the blood clot and cause a painful condition called dry socket. Avoid any hot drinks, hot food, alcohol, and smoking. - Swelling Management: Swelling is a natural response to surgery and peaks within 48 to 72 hours. Apply an ice pack wrapped in a cloth to the outside of your jaw for 10-15 minutes at a time, taking 10-minute breaks. Keep your head elevated with extra pillows when sleeping. - Nutrition & Oral Hygiene: Consume only soft, cool, or lukewarm foods (like soups, yogurt, purees, and smoothies) on the first day. Avoid spicy, acidic, or crunchy foods that could irritate the wound. Do not brush the surgical site directly for the first 24-48 hours; instead, keep the rest of your mouth clean. From the second day, gently rinse your mouth with warm salt water or a prescribed antiseptic mouthwash after meals. - Medications: Take all prescribed antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and pain relievers exactly as directed by your surgeon. Do not wait for severe pain to start before taking the first dose. - Rest: Avoid strenuous physical exercise, heavy lifting, or sports for at least 3 to 5 days after surgery to prevent bleeding. If you experience unexpected bleeding, severe swelling, or a high fever, contact our clinic immediately.
